Welcome!

Not From Wisconsin is alive indeed! The website is a work in progress…and working we are,  and that’s a promise. We have already added a little audio player widget on the right of the page and will be adding more info on upcoming shows and our recording plans as well.

There are two really big things coming up. We’re playing that The Chapter House in Ithaca on Saturday June 13th. It is an honor for us to be sharing the stage with Mary Lorson for that night. Her new group is called Mary Lorson and the Soubrette. There isn’t a doubt that this project will be brilliant. Mary knows no other way than brilliance. So, please, please, join us on the 13th of June at the Chapter House in Ithaca the night get’s rolling around 9:30 or so. We’re going on after Mary Lorson and the Soubrettes, so make sure you pace yourselves!

The second piece of big news is that immediately after our gig at the Chappy, we’ll be heading into the studio to record our debut record. We’re all really psyched about recording and have high hopes to try and get something out for the world to hear sometime this fall. We, of course, will keep you posted.
